Location : Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Initially, the flights to Auckland, New Zealand, were fully booked but I have managed to secure a flight departing on the 12th of December. However, I need to leave as early as the 4th because my partner-in-crime, Ryan, will already be there by the 5th of December. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that some nincompoop will suddenly develop the fear of flying(or being bombed) and cancels his flight booking. I'm getting quite excited as departure time draws closer and closer... Ryan has already told me 2 of the most important things to pack - a tent and a sleeping bag. More starry nights to come! I wonder if there are any grizzly bears in New Zealand? If I do come across one, I'll try to take a picture of it and post it on Mindriot....so stay tuned!
I couldn't really sleep last night because I kept thinking of what to do in the next few months and I've got a slight plan drawn up:-
early December to mid January - hitch hike New Zealand
early February to end April - Sri Lanka/India/Nepal or S.Africa/Mozambique
early May to end July - snowboarding in Queenstown, New Zealand(maybe).
early August to end September - hangout in Malaysia/Indonesia/Thailand
early October to ??? - freeze my ass off in Ireland for 2 years. =(
This coming trip to New Zealand will be like a "tester"....for me to see the sights and maybe go back for the winter season. Unless I can think up of a better place to go...like surfing in Sumatra/Java or if I decide to try and find my way back overland from Nepal to Malaysia. Anyway, plans change all the time so... Gosh, I feel like there's just so many places to go and and so many things to do but so little time for it to happen!
And like always, I'll just go with the flow and see how things go...

swampy : well, plan new zealand because if i do go anywhere to board, i think it will be there. is dylan still serious about the surfboard? time is running short for me...going to singapore soon to buy an iBook.
Raph : Ireland because I want to see proper Riverdances by the river and I heard Irish girls are.....good at dancing? and I've kinda been interested in Irish squabbles for some time. Would be good to actually be there and see what its all about. =) Think I will be dropping by England(maybe Scotland too) to say Hi to u guys before I crossover to Ireland but not sure about the whole plan yet.
