So I've just been reassured by my webhost that losing my updates will not happen again. It was quite a waste to lose the update as I wrote a pretty long entry!
Anyway, I just wanted to tell you guys about how I've recently been doing some video calling over the internet again. The last time I did any video calls over the internet, it was ages ago when most people were still on a dialup internet connection. I tried video calling on MSN Messenger with MadMatt in Malaysia and Lily in Australia :-

Transmission was better than how it was a few years ago but still not bloody amazing despite both parties being on broadband connection because the video image rendered was jittery. However, that could be due to a couple of reasons like the webcam's specifications(low frames-per-second rate), software, bandwidth congestion, etc. MadMatt claims the latest update of Skype(Version 2.0), was much better and smoother in video image transmission. Nevertheless, it was still damn cool to be able to talk to someone and see their moving image at the same time, all for free. It makes me want to rush out and buy a webcam or an Apple MacBook Pro(notebook with a webcam built-in). I guess I'll probably stick to the cheaper option... =)
My brand new speakers Harmon Kardon Soundsticks have landed! Finally, good quality audio is within my reach again after having to succumb to my puny travel speakers for the last few months. There will definitely be louder days at home with a crazy Malaysian nutter jumping around and screaming at the top of his voice in his room(calling the rain) and Pearl Jam blasting through the new speakers trying to keep up. I've also bought a pair of Asics running shoes to replace my Puma look-good shoes that were giving me blisters. They are so bloody comfortable! They're not cheap(to me) and they look so new, I haven't had the heart to wear them outside the house yet. It reminds me of when I bought my Puma shoes - I managed to keep it looking clean till about 2 months later. After that, it was "no mercy treatment" and I wore it every-bloody-where!
